The Britestream BN5000 SSL Load Balancing Appliance is a dedicated, high performance SSL appliance with intelligent load balancing designed in providing a secure, scalable, and simple solution to protect data in transit. Built on Britestream’s award-winning SSL technology, specifically designed to offload 100% of all SSL traffic, securing application servers just got easier, faster, and more scalable with this plug-and-play load balancing SSL security appliance.

BN5000 SSL Load Balancing Appliance

Three models designed to economically fit your network security requirements:

  • BN5000-SSL is designed to work in conjunction with an existing load balancer to improve network performance and enhance security by offloading 100% of all SSL requirements.
  • Select from either the BN5000-LB1 or BN5000-LB2 depending on your load balancing demands.  Both models provide load balancing support in addition to managing all SSL requirements. 

Britestream solves the computationally intensive Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and decryption by offloading 100% SSL via the appliance, maximizing the performance of every server within the network.  The Britestream BN5000 appliance supports up to 5,000 transactions per second or 432 million transactions per day, all in 1U of rack space. 

Britestream provides easy to deploy, out-of-the-box configuration tools including web-based administration and an easy-to-use GUI interface for simple and fast installation and maintenance.
