Britestream’s Newest SSL NIC Receives Ready for Tivoli Validation From IBM

Integration with IBM Tivoli Access Manager Provides Combined SSL Off-load and Data Privacy to End Users

AUSTIN, Texas – June 20, 2005 – Britestream Networks, the leading provider of hardware-based data privacy technology , today announced that IBM has validated the Britestream BN1200 SSL offload network interface card (NIC) as “Ready for IBM Tivoli Software.” The “Ready for IBM Tivoli Software” validation verifies that the BN1200 has been tested and validated for seamless integration into IBM Tivoli Access Manager implementations. The integration provides complete SSL off-load and end-to-end application data protection and access control.

Britestream’s solution is the first SSL/TLS security NIC that is completely self-contained and manages all facets of SSL/TLS processing on a single card.  It is a groundbreaking new concept that is resetting the bar for Internet security.
