Britestream Networks Enhances SSL Security NIC Solution
Enhanced Software Provides High Availability Features
and Support for the Apple Operating System
AUSTIN, Texas – August 24, 2005 – Britestream
Networks, the leading provider of 100 percent SSL offload network security
solutions, today announced the availability of an updated version of
its software, version 3.3. This release features high availability/failover
features, load balancing enhancements, as well as support for the latest Apple
server operating system.

This software release is utilized by the BN1200, Britestream’s award
winning SSL security network interface card. The BN1200 operates as a standard
Gigabit Ethernet NIC and can handle SSL transaction loads up to 10,000 per
second. Additionally, it supports 1K, 2K and 4K-bit RSA keys which are stored
on the chip making them impervious to detection.

self-contained and manages all facets of SSL/TLS processing on a single PCI
