Britestream and PortWise Partner to Deliver Highly-Scalable SSL VPN Solution

Austin, Texas and Mountain View, California – October 2, 2006 – Britestream™ Networks, a leading provider of hardware-based data privacy technology, and PortWise™, the secure application access specialist, today announced the successful integration of the Britestream BN1200 SSL Security NIC with the PortWise 4.5 SSL VPN, as well as the immediate availability of the PortWise-certified solution from Britestream.  This new partnership addresses the need for best-of-breed SSL performance, transport security and strong authentication by employee, partner, and consumer interactions within corporate applications and data across the Internet.  The integration of the two solutions enables customers to realize the benefits of greater scalability and stronger security without sacrificing ease of deployment and management.

The Britestream and PortWise partnership extends beyond product integration and certification to also include joint marketing channel recruitment.
