Britestream Wins Best of Show at Networld + Interop Tokyo

SSL Offload NIC Wins Award in PCs, Servers, Storage, Peripherals (Hardware) Category

AUSTIN, Texas – June 15, 2005 – Britestream Networks, the leading provider of 100 percent SSL offload network security solutions, announced today its SSL offload network interface card (NIC) won a Best of Show award last week at the Networld + Interop conference held in Tokyo. With more than 300 companies competing to win awards in one of 16 award categories, Britestream’s SSL NIC won a Special Prize in the PCs, Servers, Storage, Peripherals (Hardware) division. Britestream demonstrated its SSL solution with Universe Electron Corporation (UEC), its recently announced Japanese distribution partner.

The Best of Show Product Award is given to the most significant and promising products demonstrated at the show. Award selections were made by a panel of expert judges, as well as by a vote of show attendees. Winners were announced at an awards ceremony on June 8.
