Britestream Networks Announces Enhanced Evaluation Kit

SSL Security NIC platform simplifies the evaluation process for integration

Austin, TX – January 11, 2005 – Britestream Networks, a catalyst for the creation of a ubiquitous, secure and private Internet today announced general availability of an enhanced version of the BN1010EVK Evaluation Kit.  This new version provides an advanced tool, Showtime, to more easily set up and evaluate the BN1010 SSL Security NIC as well as a firmware upgrade, version 3.1, which includes several usability improvements.

Features and Benefits of the BN1010EVK
The newest version of the BN1010EVK offers several new evaluation capabilities and product features, including:

  • The Showtime tool which automatically configures the BN1010, and then emulates a test environment by setting up an associated HTTP web server.  In a matter of minutes, customers can evaluate the operation of the BN1010 in a real server environment using standard SSL client software.
  • Enhanced real-time alert processing and reporting
  • Additional statistics for troubleshooting and performance analysis
  • Increased flexibility in the customization of the card’s configuration
