PressBritestream Continues Growth, Adds Chief Marketing OfficerGordon Daugherty, seasoned marketing professional, to oversee Britestream’s product strategy and global marketing initiatives AUSTIN, Texas – May 16, 2005 – Britestream Networks, the leading provider of 100 percent SSL offload network security solutions, today announced that Gordon Daugherty has joined the executive team as chief marketing officer (CMO). His responsibilities will include overseeing global marketing initiatives and developing-go-to market strategies for Britestream’s products. “The next few years will be an exciting time for us and we are preparing for it by adding high caliber executive staff to chart our growth,” said Britestream’s president and CEO Bob Weinschenk. “By implementing our global market initiatives and setting our product strategy roadmap, Gordon will help us secure a leadership position in this market. ”With more than 20 years of strategic marketing and sales experience, Daugherty has implemented global marketing strategies for numerous technology companies. Most recently Daugherty was at VCON, where he served as CMO and president of the Americas. Prior to joining VCON, Daugherty served as senior director of marketing in the personal and workgroup systems division at VTEL Corporation.
