Britestream SSL Offload Solution Awarded Covalent Certified Classification

Best-In-Class Solution Providers Are Charter Members of Covalent Certified Partner Program, Ensuring Open Source Success Across The Enterprise

AUSTIN, Texas – June 27, 2005 – Britestream Networks, the leading provider of hardware-based data privacy technology, announced today that Covalent Technologies, the most trusted source for complete enterprise open source solutions , has certified their SSL security network interface card (NIC) for interoperability with Covalent’s products. Britestream is one of eight charter members of the Covalent Certified Partner Program designed to provide customers with access to a trusted network of best-in-class solutions providers to help ensure Open Source success across the enterprise . To be awarded the Covalent Certified classification, products must demonstrate their interoperability with Covalent’s Enterprise Ready Server™ (ERS), the most widely distributed Web infrastructure stack in Fortune 500 enterprises. Covalent recently introduced ERS 3.0, which includes the Apache HTTP Web Server and the Apache Tomcat Application Server, among the most popular Open Source components in the world today. To become a certified partner, Britestream’s SSL offload solutions passed a series of rigorous quality assurance tests from Covalent’s Certification Labs.
