PressBritestream Introduces the BN1200X Digital Signings Solution Britestream Boosts Digital Signings Performance for Linux Applications Austin, Texas – October 2, 2006 – Britestream™ Networks, a leading provider of hardware-based data SSL technology, today announced the release of the BN1200X Digital Signings Solution for XML and OpenSSL applications. In today’s Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web services environments, digital signatures are increasingly used to authenticate and secure application-to-application messages. Processing this heavy signature load, however, can have negative impacts on the performance of these applications. Britestream’s BN1200X solves this problem by delivering a high rate of transactions—up to 10,000 operations per second—that satisfies the most demanding SSL-enabled web applications. TeaLeaf® Technology, the leader in Customer Experience Management, uses Britestream’s BN1200X in their CX-powered applications. “We evaluated several other hardware vendors’ products before partnering with Britestream," said Robert Wenig, founder and CTO of TeaLeaf. “What won us over was the ease of integration with our platform, and the substantial performance Britestream offered. We believe customers who use TeaLeaf with Britestream will benefit from this partnership." The Britestream BN1200X removes traditional barriers and penalties to securing transmissions with its tamper-resistant, hardware-based solution that protects encryption keys and ensures fortified security. Since the Britestream BN1200X is OpenSSL-compliant, it offers instant plug-and-play acceleration for OpenSSL applications. The BN1200X is available today directly from Britestream.
